Brain and body getting Physical – Wendy Suzuki and Olivia Newton-John

This came my way last week and though most of us already know the content to be true, I thought it would be interesting to share it. We know exercise is good for us, but it is fascinating to see the reaction happening in the brain. Wendy Suzuki does a great job approaching physical work outs from a more scientific point of view without foregoing a personal touch. She is a great speaker and makes an effort to simplify.

On a lighter note, do you remember this one? I think the music has its own pull and I found myself bopping along and thinking how easily it puts us in the mood to exercise without any of the scientific reasoning. Its pure fun, despite awful eighties hair and colourful leotards but don’t you love it, and don’t you love Olivia?

Maybe together, science and catchy music, might give us the incentive to improve our brain and bodies.  I need something to motivate me.

See you next time,

Barb
